Job Description

Uken’s Growth And User Acquisition team, responsible for building and driving high scale user acquisition campaigns to bring games to a world wide audience is adding an Artist to the team. This role will create and produce gameplay trailers, animated stills, videos and other advertising assets across all games in the studio. The Artist will work alongside Performance Marketers and Gameplay Artists to promote our products, acquire and engage users.

As a Ukenite, you’ll be working on meaningful things like:

• Creating and producing videos and game-play trailers for all products across the studio
• Collaborating with Performance Marketers and Gameplay Artists to achieve desired artistic vision and growth strategy
• Participating as part of a team in the recommendation of practical and creative solutions to improve user acquisition and engagement activities
• Establishing a library of video and motion graphic assets for future content

Your background should include:

• 2D and 3D animation experience
• Experience creating trailers and videos for advertising production or gaming
• Strong compositing, motion graphics and digital visual effects experience including production and post-production
• Expert proficiency in the use of Adobe After Effects and its use for compositing and animation
• Proficient in 3D tools such as Cinema 4D, Blender, Maya etc. and a constant desire to find better tools and workflows
• Experience in Unity is an asset 
• Previous experience in the game industry or entertainment, advertising and related industry
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
• An appetite to continually learn, grow, and take ownership of your role
