Job Description

Job Overview: Coffee for Sasquatch is a small, Los Angeles based coffee shop that celebrates individuality. We are seeking a skilled Breakfast/Lunch Chef to add to our team. 

• Have working knowledge of kitchen management, inventory management, and food/labor cost maintenance
• Be able to manage the line and assure food quality, presentation and consistency standards are maintained during service
• Have experience creating and maintaining prep lists, placing orders, and working with vendors
• Records production and operational data on specified forms according to local regulations
• Complete knowledge of proper culinary methods, techniques and standards
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to perform multiple tasks at once

Requirements:

• Culinary experience  

• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment 
  

• Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively with colleagues and customers 
  

• Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in preparing food
