The Concierge is an integral part of the team at Mad Nice. They are responsible for executing set standards of service and making sure our guests have the best possible experience. The Concierge is the face of the restaurant. You will be the first smile they see upon entering and the last goodbye they hear before leaving! Noting the special occasions, allergies and plotting the floor plan are some of the most important needs of a restaurant. The beverage program at Mad Nice features classically driven cocktails inspired by the California coast, Italian Soul with a Detroit sauce. Our menu will be ever evolving with the seasons and focused on using fresh ingredients and local produce. Along with a full bar offering we will have a modern Italian menu featuring wood fired pizzas, naturally leavened breads and handmade pastas.

In addition to the above, we look for people that possess the following knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential functions of the role. However, we are always willing to train anyone with the right attitude and desire to grow, as you can't teach hospitality.
Warmly greet and seat guests in the restaurant.
Answer telephones, and take orders, messages and reservations.
Work proactively to provide a unique experience by getting to know the
guests during the reservation process.
Ensure the overall guest experience exceeds expectations and anticipate
guests’ needs.
Use tact and good judgement when dealing with guest challenges and
respond to guest needs with patience and courtesy.
Assist with clearing, cleaning and resetting tables and maintain restrooms.
Use proper phone and voicemail etiquette and guidelines.
Understand and respond knowledgeably to questions about the restaurant
and menu.
Capable to understand and solve problems with a calm and collective
demeanor.
Follow all steps of service.
Understand the importance of community outreach and contributing to the neighborhood
