Are you passionate about providing exceptional support and coaching to remote staff? Join our team as a Healthcare Operations Team Lead, where you'll play a pivotal role in guiding and mentoring our team members performing Benefit Verifications within a Micro-Hub. You'll collaborate with the Supervisor and Area Director/Manager to ensure our team meets productivity goals, maintains high customer service standards, and adheres to quality control measures across all projects.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Guide Team Members: Provide clear daily instructions on processing Benefit Investigations to ensure smooth operations.
Offer Support and Coaching: Assist team members in resolving issues during benefit investigations, offering valuable coaching and support.
Monitor Performance: Keep track of seasonal employee performance to ensure tasks meet client service level requirements.
Ensure Quality: Conduct daily monitoring of employee production to uphold performance standards and quality control measures.
Training Initiatives: Work alongside the Supervisor and Area Director/Manager to train Reimbursement Specialists, preparing them to meet performance benchmarks.
Issue Escalation: Escalate issues to the Supervisor when necessary to ensure timely resolution.
Develop Training Materials: Contribute to the creation of program training documents to support team development.
Foster Communication: Maintain open and effective communication with staff, promoting a collaborative environment.
Problem Solving: Identify program issues and propose solutions to the supervisor, ensuring continuous improvement.
Customer Relationships: Maintain positive relationships with both internal and external customers.
Additional Duties: Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Experience: Preferably 2+ years in a specialty pharmacy, medical insurance, reimbursement hub, physician's office, healthcare setting, or insurance background.
Leadership: At least 1+ years of supervisory or leadership experience.
Dynamic Environment: Experience in processing benefit investigations in a fast-paced, dynamic environment is highly desirable.
Education: Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED. A Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
Remote Work: Experience in directing a remote workforce is highly desirable.
