Job Description

Palmer Group is partnering with a client seeking a skilled and passionate Photo Editor to help bring their clients’ visions to life. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing digital files, including paths, alignment, cleaning, retouching, composition work, color corrections, and production of client files. The ideal candidate will have experience in image editing and compositing of commercial and product photography, image compositions, and color management.

Responsibilities:

• Edit and retouch photographs for various projects to create high-quality, on-brand, aesthetically pleasing images for clients across multiple platforms
• Ensure images meet the client’s quality and style standards
• Collaborate with photographers and other team members to select the best images for projects
• Improve image quality creatively using various editing methods
• Archive, manage and organize the photo library
• Stay updated with the latest photo editing software and techniques
• Adhere to deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Photo Editor or similar role
• 3+ years of experience using Adobe Creative Suite 
• Must have professional experience in a studio setting
• Must provide a strong portfolio showcasing photo editing and retouching skills
• Proficient in photo editing software such as Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, etc.
• Ability to utilize pen tool, layer masks, and transparency
• Excellent attention to detail and color vision
• Creative mindset with the ability to enhance the visual appeal of images
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills
