Position Summary:
We are seeking a Plant Operator with proven experience in a dynamic industrial or manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate is a versatile team player with a strong commitment to safety and an understanding of occupational hazards. Candidates with experience in operations or maintenance of water treatment, wastewater treatment, or used oil processing equipment are preferred. This position is suited for individuals with drive, ambition, and potential for advancement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct bulk liquid transfer operations.
• Perform treatment of non-hazardous industrial wastewater.
• Communicate production status with the yard supervisor.
• Operate and maintain treatment and plant equipment.
• Ensure the cleanliness of the facility and follow safe operating procedures.
• Maintain current Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for water treatment operations.
• Participate in daily safety huddles.
• Comply with occupational, safety, and company regulations.
• Adhere to water and used oil permit requirements.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED, with equivalent reading, writing, and reasoning skills.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Progressive experience in an industrial work environment.
• Strong multitasking, time management, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in outdoor environments with exposure to direct sunlight and extreme heat, lift up to 50 lbs, and climb ladders up to 30 feet.
• Ability to operate, or learn to operate, equipment such as forklifts, pressure washers, and occasionally a pickup truck.
• Willingness to work beyond regular hours, including weekends if necessary.
• Basic knowledge of chemistry.
• Successful completion of pre-employment background checks and substance abuse screenings, including employment verifications, criminal searches, and motor vehicle record (MVR) checks, with continued verifications throughout employment to ensure compliance with company standards.
