AE Home Care is seeking compassionate, energetic, and hardworking Caregivers!
MALE: Quadriplegic in need on 3-4 days a week 12-hour shifts. PM and AMs
HAS A DOG
7am-7p and also may have 7pm- 7am open on a PRN basis HOYER LIFT, cleaning commode, homemaking, bowel training, repositioning every 2 hours, Med reminders, CNA.
**This is considered a high-risk, difficult case, please only serious applicants.

Compensation: $19.00-$20.00

Responsibilities
*
Provide personal hygiene assistance for elderly patients or those recovering from surgeries, injuries or accidents by attending to their basic needs, such as showering, bathing, dressing and eating
*
Remind clients to take prescribed medication and assist clients with ambulation
*
Help with mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks etc.)
*
Assist with personal care and hygiene, plan and prepare meals and help with physical therapy exercises
*
Complete client’s shopping or accompanies them to successfully do so
*
Perform housekeeping duties and report any unusual incidents
*
Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
*
Offer activities that are essential for daily living by assisting patients with their meals, including serving and other tasks, if necessary
Qualifications
- Proof of Right to Work in the United States
- Valid Driver's License or state-issued ID Card
- Proof of Automobile Insurance
- CPR / First Aid Card (online cards will not be accepted)
- Negative TB Test; if positive, a negative reading Chest X-Ray
- Criminal Background Check
- Three (2) verifiable References

Available to work different shifts, including nights and/or weekends

Prior experience in healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care environment (minimum of 1 year)

High School Diploma or equivalent/Experience as a Caregiver
*
Take pride in providing high-quality care

Hoyer Lift Experience (specific to client)
