Job Description

As our Account Executive on the Nissan team, you will work closely with our Account Supervisor to manage the day-to-day relationships and activities pertaining to Nissan’s experiential programs. This role will help oversee the planning, delivery, and execution of Nissan’s motorsports, lifestyle, and entertainment activations. We are integrators who partner with internal departments, Nissan United agency partners and the Nissan client.

To thrive in this position, you are collaborative, fast-paced, disciplined, and forward looking with some on-site activation experience; it’s a bonus if you are passionate or have experience working with the automotive industry or sports within an agency ecosystem.

ABOUT GMR MARKETING

We are  the Experience Agency Making Unforgettable Stories Born of Humanity

NOT JUST EXPERIENTIAL.  EXPERIENCE.

The lines have blurred. People live in the physical, digital, and social worlds all at once, and your brand experiences should do the same.

NOT JUST TELLING.  MAKING.

The best stories are lived, not heard. Make an immersive world for people to explore so they can experience something they’ll never forget.

NOT JUST CONSUMERS.  HUMANS.

It all starts with the human. If you want to make a lasting impact, look beyond the wallet to understand what motivates and inspires people.

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Collaboration.  You partner with multiple stakeholders, vendors, and partners on the development and execution of sponsorship and event activations, working within the integrated agency ecosystem for Nissan. You will thrive in this role if you are good at maintaining working relationships and explaining concepts to people in fields or departments outside of your own.
  • Attention to Detail.  You ensure accuracy when maintaining strategic and administrative documents for client reports and presentations including proposals, point of views, recaps, reports, agendas, timelines, and budget management. This is key as you’ll be independently owning these parts of the process, and they have a great impact on the overall success of the programs.
  • Ownership. You have experience leading the planning process for a program, activation, or event from early planning to conception. You would be the lead for one of our large motorsport’s programs, and this would require comfort solving problems and determining action plans independently.
  • Balance. You have a proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects in a deadline driven environment. This is important because at times you could be supporting up to three projects simultaneously, and therefore must be able to prioritize and multitask.
  • Industry Knowledge.  You have experience in sports marketing, sponsorship, events, non-profits, or directly for a brand. In this experience you’ve owned your own program/activation planning and client communication start to finish successfully.
  • Travel. You are open to work-related travel for up to 25% of this role. This would be necessary when we need you to be on-site to provide support for large events and activations that you have typically been involved with planning.

OUR DEI MANIFESTO
