Mohawk is looking for a Graphic Designer who can do more with Mohawk.

The ideal candidate will use artistic skills & basic design principles to determine the best visual effect in planning and designing various printed and multimedia graphic art projects, from concept origination through printing & technical processes.

What you’ll do:

• Collaborate with Product Design/ Marketing and other internal team members to determine project needs, develop a project plan, and produce visual solutions for specific communication needs of the client.
• Translate client needs into multiple creative design options that allow flexibility in achieving the goals of the project and that conform to appropriate time and budget constraints for each project
• Use artistic skills and basic design principles to determine the best visual effect in planning, developing, and designing creative, aesthetic materials that are targeted to a specific audience and are consistent with the image of Company brands.
• Work with external vendors to coordinate print production, photography, and delivery logistics as needed.
• Follow all projects from conception to print to ensure the production of the highest quality catalogs, brochures, advertisements, and other visual media possible.
• Work in a team environment to contribute ideas for concept development and to refine aspects of all jobs within the department.
• Research and monitor design trends to sharpen skills, keep with current technology and software, and determine ways to enhance the Company’s image and designs from those of the competitor.
• Perform other duties as required.

What you have:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
• 4-6 years relevant experience OR equivelent combination of education and experience.

• Advanced proficiency in core Adobe Creative Suite programs with working knowledge of Microsoft Office and various project management software.
• Advanced understanding of graphic design, advertising, social media/interactive design, with an emphasis on publication design preferred. Experience with trade show graphics a plus.
• Previous experience preferred in project management involving successfully organizing, planning, and executing projects from vision through implementation.

• Ability to work independently, set priorities, and handle multiple tasks with concentration, speed, and accuracy to meet multiple deadlines and shifting requirements to produce a large volume of high-quality material with meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills necessary to effectively interact with team members, management, and other internal and external customers and to build positive interpersonal relationships with various business partners in a cross-functional environment.
• Consistent, proven ability to work autonomously to manage and implement projects and to contribute to concept development with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to approach unfamiliar situations and conceptualize a range of creative and imaginative solutions with ease, using creativity skills to document and sell them to clients.
