If you're interested in the planning, execution, and day-to-day management of all social marketing, our Social Media Marketing Specialist role may be for you! We invite you to consider joining our Marketing team.


Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a subject matter expert and contributor of the marketing team to plan and execute all social media marketing, including SEO, SEM, social media, online, video, reels, and monitor responses and comments on all media used by the Bank.
  • Monitor external social media @mentions and/or taggings and vet if it is content that can be repurposed.
  • Deliver multichannel campaigns that effectively reach our target audiences. Build these core channels while also researching and recommending additional channels.
  • Measure and report performance of all social media marketing campaigns and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs).
  • Responsible for implementing and adjusting strategies, tactics, and channels when data indicates adjustment is warranted.
  • Identify trends and insights in the social media arenas, recommending the most relevant campaigns for the Bank’s audiences
  • Maintain project schedules, works within a budget, and is responsible for communicating work to colleagues to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow.
  • Produce creative and engaging video content for various platforms, including websites, social media channels, YouTube, and other digital platforms.
  • Edit and enhance raw footage, ensuring high-quality visuals, clear audio, and smooth transitions.

Who You Are

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Marketing Communications or equivalent of education and experience
  • 2+ years' experience in planning social media programs that span owned, earned, and paid preferred
  • Knowledge of social media legal guidelines
  • Knowledge of Digital Marketing best practices and digital production

Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Heartland Bank’s total compensation package for employees.
