Storage Administrator

Astor & Sanders Corporation (Astor) is an award-winning IT solutions provider headquartered in McLean, VA and is seeking a Storage Administrator. This is a full-time position based in Montgomery, AL, Ogden, UT, Mechanicsburg, PA, or Oklahoma City, OK. This will be remote work with one day onsite per week at any four of the locations stated.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Plan, configure, maintain, and monitor storage systems
Perform storage management tasks such as provisioning, data replication, and capacity planning
Optimize storage performance and troubleshoot storage-related issues
Collaborate with other teams to ensure storage infrastructure is aligned with business requirements and best practices
Implement and maintain backup and disaster recovery solutions
Create and update documentation related to storage systems and processes
Work closely with IT team to ensure the integrity and security of data storage infrastructure
Stay up-to-date with storage technologies and trends, and recommend improvements to enhance system performance and reliability
Additional duties as assigned

Requirements

Proven experience of 10 years IT experience with 5 years in Storage Administration.
Candidate MUST have Active Secret Clearance
Candidate MUST have IAT II, or higher 8570/8140 certification (Security+, CCNA Security, SSCP, CISSP, CySA+, CEH, among others)
Experience with cloud storage solutions.
Experience with Storage Area Network (SAN) fabric technologies.
Knowledge of scripting languages for automation tasks.
Design experience is a plus.
Hands-on experience with storage management tools and software.
