Morrison Healthcare is looking to hire a dynamic and motivated Hourly Staffing Recruiter to join our Human Resources team. This role will focus on recruiting hourly associates for the hospital system's Food Services and Environmental Services (EVS) departments. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for talent, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
****This position will be onsite (not hybrid or home-based) in a client hospital in either Columbia, SC, or Greenville, SC, and you must live within a commutable distance to either city.
Recruitment and Sourcing:
Develop and implement effective recruiting strategies to attract qualified candidates for Food Services and EVS positions.
Utilize various sourcing methods, including job boards, social media, job fairs, and community partnerships, to identify and engage potential candidates.
Screen and interview applicants to assess their qualifications and fit for the roles.
Candidate Management:
Manage the candidate experience from application through onboarding.
Conduct initial phone screens and coordinate in-person interviews with hiring managers.
Maintain regular communication with candidates, providing updates and feedback throughout the recruitment process.
Collaboration:
Partner with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and ensure a smooth and efficient recruitment process.
Provide guidance and recommendations to hiring managers on candidate selection and hiring decisions.
Work closely with HR team members to ensure alignment with overall staffing goals and strategies.
Administrative Duties:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
Prepare and extend job offers, ensuring all necessary pre-employment screenings and paperwork are completed.
Track and report on key recruitment metrics, such as time-to-fill and candidate source effectiveness.
Compliance:
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in recruitment, preferably within the healthcare, food services, or hospitality industry.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with candidates and hiring managers.
Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
